We all love a good background story on these singing competition shows and it makes you want to root for them, which Rion Paige on The X Factor 2013 Season 3 definitely has. She was born with a disease of her arms, but that does not hold her back from reaching for her dreams, which makes me want to vote for her and makes me want to hug her! Regardless of that, Rion has an amazing country voice and she is only 13 years old! She has proven herself big time on The X Factor USA Season 3 and I think she has a bright future ahead of her in the business. Demi Lovato said she needs to just be herself and let her guard down. Demi sees it and got goosebumps from her during rehearsals. Simon Cowell doesn’t know why Demi isn’t picking songs more suited for Rion’s country voice. Rion is only 13 years old, but she pulls out those emotions of the lyrics. She gave me goosebumps with this performance and she made an Elton John song into a country song! I loved it.
Kelly Rowland said that she is speechless and she really likes how she allows herself to be vulnerable. Paulina Rubio told her the same thing and that her voice is brilliant. Simon said that he thought she was good last week but this week she was absolutely outstanding. Demi told her that she got emotional listening to her sing because she is so emotional when she sings.
