After the Four Chair Challenge on The X Factor 2013 Season 3, the judges (Simon Cowell, Paulina Rubio, Kelly Rowland and Demi Lovato) all had to cut their categories down to just four acts. Paulina mentors the Boys and she cut Josh Levi. After some thinking, the judges decided to bring Josh back as a wild card and he has shown them that they made a wise choice. His performances have been great and I think he has found the kind of performer her would like to be after The X Factor USA Season 3. Kelly Rowland said that he needs to explore his freedom on that stage. His Grandma has been a rock for Josh and he says this will be the first Thanksgiving without her. She surprises him with a visit and now he thinks this will be his best performance yet, as he will be singing to her 200%. He does have that stage presence down now, but I was not liking the vocals as much tonight. I think it was just a karaoke version of the song with some dance moves in there and trying to work it with the girls in the audience, even though he clearly wants to work it with the boys!
Kelly told him that he let them into his world today and this was a great performance by him, Demi told Paulina that she has done a great job mentoring him because this was a great performance. Simon starts off by saying that he is full of energy, but he needs to be careful that the dancing doesn’t become outdated. Paulina tells him that this was a great performance and she is proud of him tonight on The X Factor Season 3!
