With only six acts remaining on The X Factor USA Season 3, it tends to be that all the eliminations are a little shocking because we don’t want to see any of them go home, but last night’s elimination was way beyond a little shocking and it totally flabbergasted me and still has me wondering what happened, so who went home on The X Factor 2013 Season 3 last night? The show started the same as always last night on The X Factor Season 3, as we look back at the performances from the night before and then get to a quick elimination, as the person with the lowest number of votes was sent home. That person: Ellona Santiago!!! WHAT?!?!? How could the girl who has probably the most views of anyone on The X Factor USA YouTube page this season (besides Alex & Sierra) and the girl who has over 100,000 followers on Twitter get eliminated with the least number of votes???
Moving past that, there was the sing-off between the bottom two singers after Ellona, which happened to be Rion Paige and Carlito Olivero. Both of these singers were here before, so this was not new territory for them. They both sang and the judges voted and sent Rion Paige home and Carlito Olivero moved on to the semifinals next week. Both of the remaining Girls were eliminated last night and Demi Lovato has no one else to mentor!
