It is the week of finales on all the singing competition shows, as The Voice 2013 Season 5 came to an end last night and now The X Factor 2013 Season 3 finale week begins tonight on FOX! We are down to Carlos Olivero, Jeff Gutt and Alex & Sierra fighting for the recording contract and $1 million prize tonight on The X Factor USA Season 3. To be honest, it is a much different finale three acts than I would have imagined a few weeks ago, but that is the joy of these shows and you never know what may happen when America votes. Last week on The X Factor USA 2013, we got a chance to see the final four acts take the stage and perform twice for our votes. To join the ranks of The Voice, we now have the artists’ performances available on iTunes, but those purchases do not matter. Alex & Sierra did hit the #1 spot on the Top 100 Singles Chart, which is huge for them and may show us where this may all end up! Jeff Gutt has done well on iTunes also, so don’t count him out!
The fun begins tonight when the Top 3 on The X Factor USA Season 3 take the stage and perform three times (that was a lot of threes right there)! We then vote and a night of performances tomorrow night, as we have some familiar faces from the season join us and performances from Lea Michele, One Direction, Mary J. Blige and Leona Lewis.
