The Top 3 on The X Factor 2013 Season 3 performed last night for our votes and started the show with their Song to Win performance, which was to wow us and make us think they deserved to be the winner of The X Factor USA Season 3. Why start the show with this performance and not end with it? I am still baffled on this concept, but here is a look at all three performances and my thoughts. Check it out in our The X Factor 2013 Season spoilers videos below!
Carlito Olivero – “Impossible” by Shontelle
They know the Spanish lyrics do it for people and they work them into this performance. The song didn’t show off much of his range, but still a pretty good performance from him to start the show.
Alex & Sierra – “Give Me Love” by Ed Sheeran
Sierra kicks the song off and sounds great. They bring it together and sound even better. Then Alex takes over and sounds great. Besides the fact that Alex looked very yummy for this performance, I was a little disappointed in them choosing a song they have already done before on The X Factor Season 3. That means two repeat performances for them, which could hurt them in the voting.
Jeff Gutt – “Dream On” by Aerosmith
You always have to root for the Over 25s because they have that story of trying and trying. While I talk highly of him, then he comes out and gives an okay performance. It had that rock element to it, but I don’t think it was anything special.
As much as I don’t want to say it, but I think Alex & Sierra had the best performance of these three. It may have been a repeat performance, but it was still stellar! Who did you like the most?
