Well, if you feel like shedding a tear or two while watching a video today, then the Rion Paige audition on The X Factor USA Season 3 last night will do that for you! Talk about a truly inspiring story and an absolutely beautiful girl. Also, why do kids these days look so much older than they actually are? Rion Paige is only 13 years old and sings like a professional on The X Factor 2013 Season 3! So, Rion Paige comes out and she has such a bubbly personality and you just want to hug her from the very beginning. She tells the judges she has a physical deformity with her hands and it has too many words for me to remember the exact condition, but is effects the way her hands were formed. She clearly does not let this effect her daily life and she has a personality that makes you like her and root for her.
She sings “Blown Away” by Carrie Underwood and the song title is so fitting. We were blown away and Simon Cowell said he was there when Carrie was discovered and Rion reminds him of that same girl her saw years ago. That is a huge compliment and Simon said he would love to get the chance to be a mentor for her this season!
