If there is anyone on The X Factor 2013 Season that you truly want to root for and hope they win, it would have to be Jeff Gutt. He is a Dad trying to make it in the industry and he has been doing this for years and finally has his chance on The X Factor USA Season 3. I think he has been pretty solid all season long, but I did not think he has the support out there like some of the other acts remaining on The X Factor Season 3. However, each week he is safe and proving me wrong. Last night on The X Factor USA 2013 he was pretty amazing in his performances, which you can see below in our The X Factor 2013 Season 3 spoilers videos!
Jeff said this is a life thing for him and he has sacrificed so much to be here. Him and Kelly think this song is perfect for them. This was his audition song last season and means a lot to him. For Jeff, this was a tough song to take on and he would have to be compared to Matthew Schuler and what he did with the song a few weeks ago on The Voice USA 2013. However, he lived up to the challenge and he put that rock twist on it and I loved it. Check it out:
Kelly thinks this song is perfect for getting him into the finals. I don’t know, but I wasn’t feeling this performance. I love Jeff Gutt tonight on The X Factor 2013, but this performance did not fit with his voice. He is more hard rocker and this didn’t show that. Was it just me? Check it out:
